Spring Street Exchange - Thrift Shop Opens June 18 On June 18,2008 IFCA* will open a thrift shop, the Spring Street Exchange, at 138 Spring Street in Ossining, NY. We plan to sell new and gently used items at low prices. Please consider donating to us, as your items will be put to good use. Your generosity in helping us in our mission is greatly appreciated. IFCA is a not-for-profit corporation and all donations are tax deductible. We can provide you with a donation receipt.
PLEASE DONATE! We gratefully accept the following items:
- Men's, women's, children's and infant's, new or gently used in-season clothing** (no stains or tears.)
- Shoes: New only
- Accessories: Handbags, wallets, belts, costume jewelry.
- Kitchen: Full sets of dishes, sets of dinner plates, sets of bowls, flatware, kitchen tools, pots, pans, Pyrex cookware, new kitchen appliances in box.
- Linens: Bed sheets, towels, bedspreads/quilts, blankets and tablecloths in good condition (no stains or no tears.)
- Misc: Hand tools, any new household items, gifts, fragrance, health & beauty aids, etc. New in package - toys and puzzles.
We regret that at this time we cannot accept the following: Furniture, used appliances, electronics, or computers; used shoes, books, underwear, candles, lamps, cups & saucers, used mugs, swimsuits (unless brand new), out of season clothing or used toys.
**Note to our kind donors: Please hold out of season clothing as we have limited storage. Summer clothes are accepted starting in March, winter clothing starting in September. Also, we do not presently have facilities for washing or mending clothing, so please limit your donations to items that are in wearable condition.

*About us: Established in 1968, IFCA is the oldest Neighborhood Preservation Company in Westchester County and a designated 501 © (3) not-for-profit agency. We specialize in the ownership, renovation and management of affordable rental units, and currently manage 15 buildings comprising 100 apartments in Ossining, Tarrytown, and Croton-on-Hudson, NY. In addition, the agency provides financial literacy workshops, free tax preparation, and counseling and referral services.
