Susannah Heschel, chair of Jewish Studies at Dartmouth and daughter of the great Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel surveys the past, present and future of inter-faith scholarship. NOTE: This is lecture is at our invitation co-sponsored by Congregation Sons of Israel and will be held at the synagogue a half mile east of the church at 1666 Pleasantville Road. Notre Dame sociologist Christian Smith returns with the results of his path-breaking study of the religious and spiritual lives of 18-to-24 year olds, a follow-up to his eye opening lecture here on American teenagers. This is a must-hear lecture for parents, grandparents and emerging adults.


St. Theresa's Lecture Series is an expression of its mission as a church and offered as a service to the community. Admission is free and open to the public.

All lectures except the Heschel event are held at 7:30 pm at the church, 1394 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor.
