The Religious Education program of St. Theresa's reflects the catechetical ministry of the Church. Baptized children of catechetical age, preschool through eighth grade, share their faith weekly in groups throughout the school year. The program follows the guidelines for catechesis of the Archdiocese and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. St. Theresa's program is a family-based, as well as school model program which offers opportunities for families to come together to pray during the year, as well as materials for use within the home, particularly during sacramental preparation. Volunteer catechists are trained as teachers. Over 70 men and women offer their services each year for more than 500 children in the program. There is a booklet explaining the faith education process for each grade level and the family / parish sacrament preparation program.
