Outreach Program

The Outreach Program calls upon the parish to help those in need. They also visit Nursing Homes and Adult Home residents.

If you are interested in volunteering, please call Deacon Cecil Kenefick at
(914) 941 9421.

The Outreach Program Coordinators are: Deacon Cecil Kenefick, Anne White,
Jo Lerro, and Joan Nechis.

Serve Committee

Since the inception of the Ossining Food Pantry in 1988, “Beef Stew Weekend” has been a tradition in the parish. Parishioners volunteer for monthly pick-ups at church, Wednesday delivery, Thursday packing, Friday distribution, special events and service on the Board. Beef Stew Weekend is the first weekend of every month. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the rectory.

The Ossining Food Pantry coordinators are: Tom Gowan and Marty Engelhardt.

The Serve Committee coordinators are: Bernadette and Joe DeAngelis, and
Rob and Penny Phelan

The Christmas Giving Tree is the second major project of the Serve Committee and the coordinator is Julie Holowach. In the weeks before Christmas parishioners are invited to take a gift tag from a Christmas Giving Tree in the Church vestibule, purchase the gift named on the tag, and return the gift to church just before Christmas. Over 1,000 Christmas gifts are distributed to organizations serving people in need in the Bronx and Westchester.
